FAQ
What is The Sea Captain’s House?
A commander's house was the home of a whaling captain — and The Sea Captain's House on the island of Rømø is one of the finest surviving examples in Denmark. The same family lived here for nearly 400 years, and behind its thick walls you will still find the faience tiles, the furniture, and the smells from a time when the Wadden Sea was the gateway to the world.
